The 1,153 acres of Marine Corps Air Station Tustin, which closed on 3 July 1999. The city drafted a specific plan for the site in 2003 and it has been building as a mixed-use community since.
New construction throughout: planned residential blocks, attached homes and apartments, with sections still under development.

What Drain services in Tustin Legacy costs
The cheapest ground in this service area to work on and the hardest to sell anything recurring into. Plastic laid since 2003 with sealed joints — so a blocked drain is an event with a cause rather than a condition with an interval.
These are the ranges the trade publishes and homeowners report. Yours is a written quote once the job has been seen.

Drain services in Tustin Legacy: straight answers

Still have a question?
Call and ask. You get a straight answer and an estimated range before anybody drives out.
(714) 880-7303How much does it cost to clean your drains?
$100 to $350 for a standard residential drain in Orange County, $300 to $700 and up for a main sewer line, $350 to $600 for basic jetting, and $150 to $350 for a camera run. The full range across drain types is $150 to $750. Two things move those figures more than anything else, and neither is how long the job takes: WHICH FIXTURE, because a trap needs no machine and a main needs a large one, and ACCESS, because a cleanout somebody has paved or planted over changes the afternoon completely. A price justified to you by duration is not being justified at all.
How do I find out what my drain pipe is made of?
Three free ways, in order of how much they tell you. THE AGE OF THE HOUSE gets you most of the way: pre-war here usually means clay, mid-century usually means cast iron or early plastic, and anything since the 1970s is almost certainly ABS or PVC. THE CLEANOUT OUTSIDE is the one part of your lateral you can actually see — a white or black plastic cap is modern, a threaded brass or iron one is not. AND THE HISTORY: a line that has never blocked in thirty years is telling you something about its condition regardless of material. If those three still leave it unclear, a camera at $150 to $350 answers it permanently.
Who issues the permit if I need a repair?
Routine drain clearing needs no permit anywhere in this service area. Replacing a length of lateral does, and the answer is not the same across the six places on this site. Tustin, Old Town and Tustin Legacy all permit through the City of Tustin. Santa Ana and Irvine each have their own building departments. North Tustin is the one that catches people out: it is unincorporated, never annexed, so a repair there goes through the county rather than through any city — a different desk and a different timetable. It is worth establishing before the work is scheduled rather than after.
What is drain cleaning plumbing?
It is the part of plumbing concerned with the pipes that carry waste away, rather than the pipes that bring water in — and in California it is not a separate trade. Drainage, sewer and storm drains sit inside the same C-36 plumbing classification as everything else. What makes it distinct in practice is the equipment rather than the license: a drum auger for traps and branches, a larger machine with a cutting head for main lines, a jetter for grease and roots, and a camera that clears nothing but decides which of the other three is right. A business describing itself as a drain company has usually specialised in those tools, not qualified differently.
